Audit |
An audit is a manual or systematic measurable technical assessment of a system or application. Manual assessments include interviewing staff, performing security vulnerability scans, reviewing application and operating system access controls, and analyzing physical access to the systems. Automated assessments, include system generated audit reports or using software to monitor and report changes to files and settings on a system
Our audit is a comprehensive exercise that covers all aspects of the IT infrastructure and determines gaps against internal policies or industry standards.
The audit exercise also determines the reasons for the gaps, and provides recommendations to bridge these gaps with both an immediate, as well as a long-term perspective. The recommendations also take into account organizational culture, budgets, and other constraints.
Audits must be conducted periodically to identify the gaps and also track the applications of previous audit recommendations. |
